Why Is The Black Man Minimized?

Some questions are & will always remain unanswered. Especially when there is too much truth in it, admittance may give to much power to it therefore we will never know exactly why The Black Man is minimized. Are all black men minimized? Sure, in some ways yes, whether you pair him with another great black man (process of elimination) or you blend in his failures & flaws to expose his dirty laundry while the other guys are able to dust off their clothes & hit the refresh button. It's not just the black man that is minimized, or is it?

Lewis Latimer

A Black Man created a tiny piece called a filament that allows people to see in the Dark.

Society Says: But he can't be seen fit to lead a country to the true light.

A Black Man created an instrument that all people use to tell time.
Benjamin Banneker

Society Thinks: it is not time for him to run a country.

Phillip Reid

A Black Man designed a place for the high authorities to meet in and a place for the president to live in.

Society Says: But not good enough to lead these meetings or live in himself.

Black Men were brilliant enough to do the first open heart surgery and show the world how to get and preserve plasma.

Society Thinks: But not good enough to put a program in place where everyone can afford this surgery.

Garrett Morgan

A Black Man was creative enough to design an instrument to bring multiple people (traffic) to a halt.

Society Thinks: He's not seen creative enough to design a plan to bring all this unnecessary and worthless fighting between countries to an end.

Jan Matzeliger

A Black Man created the soles that people walk on every day.

Society Feels: He's not good enough to fill the shoes of a bad
President.

A Black Man was smart enough and brave enough to teach himself and others how to read, write and/or calculate math.

Society Assumes: He's not seen smart enough and bold enough to calculate a platform to be President of America.

Most history has vanished, let me rephrase that, most black history has vanished or just simply been hidden... all that means to me is that its time to make new history; its time to start being better, "we were scholars before scholarships." History does not acknowledge us for a reason... Why is The Black Man Minimized?
