Maybe it was a revelation that spawned while watching "Malibu's Most Wanted" or even scrolling down your Facebook feed. Being attached to someone that does not share similar views and morals as you will either help you or harm you.
Some things happen by default. Are you in a relationship that compliments you? Are your friends supportive? Do you hang with lames? Your girlfriend or significant other have a baby from a previous relationship with a person they wouldn't piss water on if they were on fire? Is your uncle a snitch? Are you related to someone you wish you could un-family? Goofy by Association, sometimes it is not a choice, sometimes it is. It can happen to anyone, if you're not careful.
