Being a creative is scary. Sometimes you think it's because you like something and you're just telling a story. Take one second to think, what if there was never a boy in the hood to show you how it will take higher learning and some poetic justice just to remember the times when you fell in love? Love is not just romance but love for your culture, like Nipsey Hussle. Love is also putting people on and providing them with an opportunity of a lifetime, like John Singleton. For the culture, this is devastating, to their loved ones, it is heartbreaking but the only truth we can accept is that their legacies are forever carved in the cement. Being a creative is scary. You can reach strangers without ever meeting them and also you can be a pillar of hope, joy and even life just because you applied your passion, wit, focus and commitment to a cause. Salute to Ermias Asghedom and John Singleton for being able to inspire; which as a great one once said, "The best thing you can do for a person is to inspire them. That's the best currency you can offer."
