Black are defined differently . Barack Obama, the 44th President of The United States of America won the presidential campaign to show how far America as a country has evolved. Has it evolved? Of course. Technology has advanced. The information era has helped transform this country vastly.
Black wealth and the potential for its rise and surge took a hit. Education and the appropriation of funds did not improve education in black communities. More white millionaires arose but blacks and other ethnic groups that are considered minorities did not see drastic changes although the latino community and the LGBTQ community did have an agenda set in place for President Obama. Some groups did excel but for the one that identifies or assumed to identify with Barack Obama were only given hope. A dream come true or even confidence. He delivered a reason to believe in HOPE; having opportunities present everyday. I've seen black denounce the Black Panther Party, talk down on the Nation of Islam because of religious differences, denounce hip hop music, not protect the obvious but yet we can not discuss the shortcomings of President Barack Obama and how he failed the Black community. Maybe it's not discussed because we failed him. " Reality is a bitch, and I heard that she bites."
